Reap the benefits of improving the quality of life on personal and community level

RDT believes that there are many compassionate individuals out there who have a pivotal role to play in uplifting the weaker sections of the society.

Volunteers are one of the most important pillars of RDT with many of them associated not just in Ananthapuram but also in other parts of Andhra Pradesh where RDT has its development initiatives. It is because of the tireless efforts of our volunteers that RDT is able to benefit people even in the remotest corners of Andhra Pradesh.

Volunteering is an excellent way to come out of your comfort zone and one of the few very unique opportunities which lets you understand and execute things at the grass-root level. Above all, the sense of satisfaction one gets by helping others is beyond words can describe.

Many volunteers are specifically trained in the areas they work, such as medicine or education. Others serve on an as-needed basis, such as in response to a natural disaster. At RDT, the volunteers will be involved in working on various development-related issues such as education, women and child health, ecology, community-based rehabilitation, tribal welfare, etc. They will get a chance to explore, know and contribute in important mainstream work of the organisation ranging from public mobilisation, fact finding researches, field exposures and documentation, pilot run project ideas, learn the threads of HR, organising events, rope in media advocacy skills and many more.

The options mentioned are not exhaustive and can be various; there is scope for innovation and experimentation with novel ideas.

We welcome people from all age groups, professional and academic backgrounds to fulfil their passion of selflessly serving the underprivileged. All the ‘Change-makers’ can send their profiles to
