  • Member of the Government of Andhra Pradesh – NGO Coordinating Committee for Rural and Urban Development
  • “Population Control Board” Award by the State of Andhra Pradesh for the quality work done in RDT hospitals
  • Member of the Commission for the Eradication of Poverty, Government of Andhra Pradesh


  • Gold Medal of the Senate of Spain posthumously awarded for Father Ferrer’s contribution to mankind
  • “Catalan of the Year Award 2008” awarded in 2009
  • High Distinction of the Government of Valencia posthumously awarded
  • Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Social Solidarity from the Spanish Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs
  • Received Olympic Spirit Award from the Spanish Olympic Committee
  • Cross of Sant Jordi from the Government of Catalonia
  • Gold Medal from the City of Barcelona
  • Human Rights Award from the General Council of Spanish Lawyers
  • Ceuta Autonomous City Coexistence Award


  • Anne Ferrer, co-founder and executive director of RDT has been honoured with prestigious JAMNALAL National Award in recognition of her contribution towards the development of women and children in chronic drought prone Ananthapuram district of Andhra Pradesh. A Citation, a Trophy and a sum of Rs.10,00,000 was presented to Anne Ferrer by Mr.Rajmohan, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Nation and a renowned biographer and journalist at the 38thJamnalal Bajaj Foundation Awards ceremony held at JAMSHED BHABHA Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai on 1 December 2015.
  • Giant Spirit Award from the Intercultural Institute for Self-Management and Community Action INAUCO (Valencia)


  • Award for Best Vertical Prevention Programme of Anantapur from the Government of Andhra Pradesh
  • Award for Best Hospital and Biomedical Waste Management in Andhra Pradesh


Best Hospital Award for the services towards TB Control by Catholic Bishops Conference of India – Coalition for AIDS and Related Diseases (CBCI – CARD) along with Ministry of Family Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi

  • Bathalapalli hospital received approval for ART Centre and for Second Level ART treatment by NACO
  • Accreditation of the hospital’s Cancer Registry by National Cancer Registry Programme of National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research – Indian Counselling of Medical Research (ICMR)
  • Approval of Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (ICTC) and Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission of HIV / AIDS (PPTCT) by NACO and SAATHII
