HRD since its inception in 2010 has been focusing on upgrading the knowledge and skills of various cadre staff- senior and middle level management, grass-root and other cadre staff working in field and institutions including disability/hospitals.  Its major focus is on community organization, gender and leadership skills.  It has also identified a few potential staff having knowledge and aptitude in trainings and is conducting series of trainings (TOT) to train them as trainers so that they carry out trainings for staff and members of community based organizations (CBOs) independently.  As many as 35 trainings covering 1087 staff were conducted by HRD during 2012-13.  These include:

    • 12-Trainings on poverty analysis, leadership and value orientation
    • 4- Trainings on community organization and leadership for grass root cadre staff such as community organizers, health organizers, group organizers, education training team members etc.,
    • 3 Advanced TOT (Training of Trainers)
