HOW TO REACH RDT

Anantapur is 200 km south of Bangalore and 350 km north of Hyderabad. It is well connected with major cities like Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore with regular and frequent train and bus services on NH-7 and NH-205 of National Highway network of India. The NH-7 connects it to Bangalore and NH-205 connects it to Chennai via Renigunta. It is located between Hyderabad, Bangalore Highway and Railway line. The nearest Airport is Puttaparty at 70 km.

By Air

The airports at Bangalore and Puttaparty serve the needs of air-passengers for getting to Anantapur. The former lies at a distance of 200 km, while the latter is 70 km from the town. Bangalore airport is well-connected to all the major cities of the country, while Puttaparty airport is connected with some limited cities. You can take bus or hire taxis to cover the remaining distance.

By Train

Anantapur is connected to the cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Pune, Vishakapatnam and other major cities, by well-laid out network of Indian Railways.
